Making the correct diagnosis requires a professional team, specialized equipment and an individual approach. At Sky Dental Clinic we have all this. Our dentists are young, motivated and have undergone numerous training in order to be able to diagnose problems from mild to very complex. We believe that making the right diagnosis is the first and most important step that leads to flawless treatment.

Photography and documentation - it is often downplayed, but we think it is extremely important. It is an intraoral survey of the oral cavity with 5 photos of teeth and gums from all directions, which allows us to show the real condition of the patient. The situation is discussed, according to visual, microscopic and X-ray diagnostics, after which the doctor and the patient have the opportunity to decide together on the final treatment.

X-ray diagnostics

We have the latest generation of digital X-ray machines including Planmeca ProMax 3D (Finland). This device has a module for "Ultra low radiation doses", which has 2 to 3 times less radiation than standard X-ray machines. This x-ray is capable of delivering:

• Panoramic x-rays;

• Temporo mandibular joint (TMJ) x-rays;

• X-ray of sinuses;

• X-ray of palm and wrist;

• Lateral cephalometry for orthodontics;

• 3D-imaging per individual teeth, one or two jaws for implantology, surgery, orthodontics and other treatments.

Planmeca equipment uses unique modern digital technologies that provide freedom to capture the desired projection and maximum detail and clarity of images. This makes the x-rays with Planmeca ProMax 3D very convenient for diagnosis and treatment in the field of: orthodontics, periodontology, implantology and maxillofacial surgery.
